The Australian Government is reviewing the operation of the national Triple Zero (000) operator to ensure that the national operator arrangements take advantage of new technologies and are able to provide improved services into the future.
The Department of Communications has commenced public consultations with the release of a discussion paper. Individuals and organisations are invited to contribute to the review by completing an online survey or making a written submission.
Submissions will be accepted until Tuesday 22 August 2014 and the review will complete its report by March 2015.
